Hi, My name is Victoria Elizabeth De La Cruz, I am a 23 year old makeup artist, and the owner of DLC Makeup. I have created this website to promote my work and portfolio to you and whoever would like me to create a look. Hopefully this page will give you an insight of who I am and what I love to do.
My Journey
At a very young age I have taken an interest in makeup and television so the two connected was always the thing that fasinated me. I started off as a competitive dancer since I was 3 years old, meaning makeup has been a big part of my life. I eventually started doing my own makeup at 7 years old and teaching myself at home afterwards. I even tired to learn sfx makeup at home just my look at my favourite horror movies.The first horror movie I saw was "A Nightmare On Elm Street" and even thought it scared the hell out of me I was completely taken by how they created Freddie Krueger. That's how I became so obsessed with sfx makeup or unique and crazy designs of makeup. Since then I have been practicing and working on myself with different looks, and eventually I decided to do it for living and go to school for it.
